Self-care has been a major theme in my painting practice. Reflecting on the ever-changing and conflicting thoughts and feelings arise from the everyday lives, my paintings narrate and alter these unique yet commonly experienced moments with a new perspective.

I like to tell stories with symbols, metaphors in an animated style. I also like to push the use of colours, textures, to create a atmoshperic scene that takes time to comprehend and to be reflected on.

Caring for the self is a slow process. It takes time to observe and gentlely explore what’s hidden and forgotten. I hope my work is opening up such special time for you.
